Lego architects wanted for the StUB

Participation is only for adults? We say no! Are you at least 10 years old, are you interested in trams, urban planning, transport or do you simply want your ideas to be heard when planning the Stadt-Umland-Bahn? Then you now have the chance to have a say: From November 2nd to 4th, 2022, a planning workshop for children and young people will take place in Herzogenaurach.

The Stadt-Umland-Bahn, or StUB for short, is intended to connect the three cities of Nuremberg, Erlangen and Herzogenaurach as a tram in the future. Your ideas for the StUB terminus as a mobility station in Herzogenaurach are asked for over the three days of the planning workshop: Together we will visit the route section to be planned, study plans, draw drafts and use Lego to create models that show what you think the StUB could look like there.

At the end of the planning workshop, we will present all the results to your parents and the management of the Zweckverband Stadt-Umland-Bahn. Your ideas will be photographed, documented and made available to the StUB planners. They are thus incorporated into the further planning of the Stadt-Umland-Bahn.

You can register online until Monday, October 24, 2022 at the Stadtjugendring Erlangen via beteiligt-dabei.de (if the planning workshop is not fully booked beforehand). We are already looking forward to many motivated Lego architects.

Exhibition

After the planning workshop, the results will be publicly displayed in the Jugendhaus rabatz in Herzogenaurach. The exhibition opening is scheduled for Monday, November 7, 2022. More information will be available on our website soon.
